Refreshing the competencies Apply First Aid (HLTFA301B), Provide Emergency Life Support (HLTFA201A), Perform CPR (HLTCPR201A)

This course is offered to persons whose First Aid qualification is due to expire or has been expired for up to 1 month. The course will refresh your knowledge and skills in first aid and update you of any changes that have taken place since your last course.

Course content: The course is a revised version of the original course, Apply First Aid

Course Duration: 6 hours

Entry Requirements: Previous First aid certificate must not be expired by more than one month. Copy of certificate to be provided to Instructor Participants must have basic English-speaking skills and reading skills unless training materials are provided in the appropriate non-English language.They must also have the strength and agility to manage CPR and other emergency situations.

Assessment: Progressive assessment of the competencies will be conducted throughout the course with a multiple choice theory test at the end.

Award: After the competent completion of all of the required skills, you will receive a Statement of Attainment from DAN when the registration procedures have been completed. The program is accredited by State and National government recognition authorities under National Training Recognition Scheme.
